Wild Berries Season Featured in
The season of picking berries and cranberries growing all over Iceland begins in August and lasts till mid-September. Feel free to join the "Berjamó", or how they call the activity of picking berries. Locals mostly use them for jams and juices. If you have just now realized that you “forgot” your jam maker, don’t worry, you can eat them fresh. They grow in nature, so they might be pretty much the healthiest ones you have ever tried.
