We Out Here is an award-winning festival featuring quality music, wellness, as well as family and cultural activities. Held every August, the festival takes place in the beautiful village of Wimborne St Giles, in Dorset. Founded by broadcaster and record label owner Gilles Peterson, We Out Here presents a diverse lineup on several stages in such genres as jazz, EDM, house, techno, soul, and hip-hop.

During the four-day celebration of world music We Out Here Festival showcases legendary performers, genre-spanning DJs, and aspiring improvisers. From jazz legend Pharaoh Sanders to Marshmallow and from Brazilian jazz funk Azymuth to Detroit techno band Underground Resistance, there's music for any taste. In the previous years, festival highlights also included live performances of The Comet is Coming, Charlie Dark, Yung Singh, Josey Rebelle, 15 Years of Hessle Audio, Charlie Bones, Dennis Bovelle, Fabio & Grooverider, Global Roots, Louie Vega, Jossy Mitsu, Parris, Tim Reaper, Lakuti, and others.

We Out Here Festival also features high-quality food and drinks, art exhibits, a records fair, crisp sound and production, and various outdoor family activities, like skating at the roller rink, a limbo session at the Lemon Lounge, swimming, and more.
