Ride it all the way from the top of the falls to the small pool at the end. Enjoy the thrill but be careful! It's preferable that you wear some shorts and T-shirts rather than swimsuits in order not to scratch yourself. Also, it would be not bad if you wore some shoes to prevent your feet from any possible injuries.
As to the season, it depends—some people complain it's too challenging after rainfalls, while others, on the contrary, argue it's hardly possible to actually slide when there's not enough water in the gorge. Thus, we recommend to choose the dry season (May to October) but go right after the rain when there's a plenty of water. However, the activity is actually available all year round.
