Thus, the best time to visit Venice is in autumn and spring when the temperature is moderate and the days are sunny. September is an excellent time to hire a gondola for a ride, see Regata Storica race, and meet the celebrities during Venice Film Festival. May and June is also a great period to visit due to the Biennale art fair and the Vogalonga boat race.
