With a length of 1,620 ft ( 494 m), the Charles Kuonen bridge is a record-breaking construction and the longest pedestrian hanging bridge in the world. The bridge is part of the Europaweg Skywalk trail, connecting Grächen and Zermatt. The Skywalk was opened in Randa in 2017, becoming one of the most popular attractions in the area.

The bridge is located at an elevation of 279 ft (85 m) at its highest point. Its width is about 26 in (65 cm). The Skywalk goes over the Grabengufer ravine and picturesque larch forests, which change colors spectacularly during the fall. The stunning views of the Bernese Alps and the stunning Weisshorn and Matterhorn surround the bridge,

After crossing the bridge, the trail goes back to Randa. To take a longer path, one can make a detour to the Europa hut. The hike takes about 4 hours both ways. Breathtakingly beautiful views of nature can be seen in every direction. Also, it's possible to visit nearby villages of St. Niklaus, Grächen, Randa, Täsch, and Zermatt.
