The southern tip of Iceland has an astonishing number of must-see locations including majestic waterfalls, volcanoes and glaciers. Some of the highlights include Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skógafoss Waterfall, Sólheimajökull Glacier, and Mýrdalsjökull Glacier.

Of course, a journey along the southern coast would be incomplete without a visit to Iceland's southernmost village of Vik. You'll discover Iceland as the country of contrasts where gigantic glaciers stretch right next to serene countryside.

You may discover these lands at your own pace, or entrust everything to a tour guide who will safely lead you across the most spectacular Icelandic paths. Bus tours are available all year round, although summer (June–August) is generally acknowledged as the best time for hiking the versatile terrain of Iceland.
