Best time of year to visit Kerala

Summer is the wettest season in Kerala with June, July, and August being the rainiest months. After the monsoons, nature gets exceptionally lush and green; therefore, the period from September to November is the best time to visit Kerala. Late August and September is time for the biggest in the area Onam festival, authentic snake boat races, and colourful Ganesh Chaturthi Hindu holiday with special food and traditions. In October, you can watch giant bonfires and statues during the Dussehra processions. Early fall is good for visiting tea plantations, while from November on, visitors can observe coffee harvest.
