Best time of year to visit Denver
Shoulder periods from April to May and September to October are the best times to visit Denver. Spring brings rising temps, fewer tourists, and reduced hotel rates. Hiking Decalibron Loop or climbing Mount Bierstadt can be exceptionally enjoyable in late spring or early fall. Generally, September and October show nice and sunny weather. However, it can change dramatically, so you'd better bring layers and raingear. The period between June and August is the most popular time to explore Denver. Hotel rates and temps are at their highest, but 4th of July celebrations and numerous concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre are definitely worth the trip. Winter off-season slopes are usually blessed by numerous skiers and snowboarders, ready to swish down the Rocky Mountains from November to March. So if you don't mind cold and snow, pack warm clothes and just enjoy the ride!
